Bicycle Gyroscope Action

This explains why bikes are more stable at speed, riding with no hands works, makes ghost riding possible, and the location of Elvis.  Well, maybe not the Elvis thing.

Science class now dismissed.  Go ride your bike.

  1. Cool post. I didn't think about how that works with a bike but that's why a helicopter has a tail rotor to keep it from just spinning.
